Julia Franks joins John Smeeton on Tuesday 20th February  between 1 and 3pm Julia plays classical guitar and entertains the patients at The Royal Free Hospital in the wards and also in the discharge area while patients wait to leave. We will also have the pleasure of listening to her play for us live on air

Enfield Arthritis Social Group

On Wednesday 25th October 1pm to 3pm join Jonny Steingold when he talks to Somerset King From The Enfield Arthritis Social group which meets on the first Wednesday of every month in the Art Town cafe in Enfield Town between 6pm and 8pm. The next meeting is on Wednesday 1st November. We welcome everyone that is affected by arthritis. It is a small, friendly group of ladies and gentlemen with a wide range of ages. Laura Brassett Home Care Prefered

On Tuesday 3rd October Laura Brassett is coming in to John Smeeton’s Afternoon delight show between 1pm and 3pm as This October, HCP Social Enterprise will launch a high-profile social media campaign titled ‘Care to Limbo’. The campaign will raise awareness and funds for a selection of amazing charities, including Alzheimer’s Research UK, Crisis, Carers UK and Macmillan. It is hoped the HCP Care to Limbo campaign will be similar to the hugely successful “Ice Bucket Challenge”, which raised significant charity funds and awareness. Throughout October the Care To Limbo tour team will be actively present in the local community challenging members of the public and businesses to limbo and share their efforts on social media.
